Kondex/Oakfield High School 2014 Project GRILL Partnership Concludes with Cookout.

On May 22, 2014 Kondex Corporation associates were treated with a cookout at its Lomira facility from its 2014 Project GRILL (Growing Readiness in Learning and Leading) partner Oakfield High School. Throughout the year, Oakfield technical education students have been building their grill, with support from Kondex.

Project GRILL is a program led by the Fond du Lac Association of Commerce that teams local manufacturers with high school students to build a working grill from scratch. This exposes students to careers in manufacturing, while offering first-hand experience in overcoming real-world challenges and deadlines. The nine participating high schools first unveiled their grills on May 2. Kondex has been a sponsor since 2011.
