Annually, Kondex proudly awards five $400 scholarships to graduating Seniors of Lomira High School. The recipients are chosen based on their academics, future field of study, career goals, as well as participation in extracurricular clubs such as 4-H, Future Farmers of America (FFA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and National Honor Society.
The 2020 recipients include Alyssa Ely, Jacob Lax, Stephanie Mayer, Xavier Rauch, and April Trauba. As future students of UW-Platteville, Jacob will be pursuing Mechanical Engineering, Stephanie will study Industrial Engineering, and Xavier will seek Electrical Engineering. Alyssa plans to attend the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado to learn about Mechanical Engineering, while April will study Accounting at UW-Madison.
Kondex President Keith Johnson had this to say about the recipients, “All of these students are exceptional young people. They have been active in sports, extracurricular activities, volunteering, and employment throughout their high school career. We are proud to help contribute towards their future education.”
Congratulations and best of luck to the entire Senior class!
