For 19 consecutive years, Kondex Corporation has awarded five scholarships to graduating Seniors of Lomira High School. Determined by their academic merits, post-secondary education plans, and community service achievements, this year’s winners include Andrew Flatt, Natalie Geiger, Alyssa Luedtke, Danielle Robinson, and Nate Thomas.
Each of the recipients have outlined their career goals and pathway to achieve them. Flatt will be attending Moraine Park Technical College to pursue a career in mechanical design. Geiger’s career choice is a large animal veterinarian, which she’ll study at Ripon College. Luedtke will be studying nursing at UW-Madison. Robinson seeks a degree in agribusiness management from Fox Valley Technical College. Finally, Thomas will pursue a career in agricultural mechanics from Fox Valley Technical College.
“We received 32 scholarship applications, and it’s always a difficult decision to narrow it down to five winners,” commented Kondex President Jim Wessing. “I’m always impressed by Lomira High School students’ level of community outreach and involvement. These five recipients are no exception. From participating and volunteering in FFA, church functions, booster clubs, and more, these students demonstrate values that align well with those of Kondex.”
