Kondex is proud to announce a major plant expansion in our Lomira, Wisconsin facility. The expansion is needed to accommodate an increased demand for our current products, and to position the company to take advantage of new product opportunities that will give our customers a competitive advantage.
The plant expansion will add about 58,000 square feet to our facility, increasing the manufacturing footprint by 50 percent. Along with the physical expansion, we will be adding more associates to our team in order to efficiently handle the increased workload.
We expect to take full occupancy of the expanded space in December of this year; work was begun in late May.
What It Means For Our Customers
As part of this expansion project, improvements are being made to current operations, both to expand manufacturing capabilities and to improve process efficiencies. Expansion and operational improvements will allow us to satisfy the growing and evolving needs of our customers around the world.
“We’re very passionate about continually improving our ability to deliver quality, high-performance products and services that help our customers feed and fuel the world. We’re also excited to be making a positive impact on Lomira and the surrounding area” said Jim Wessing, Kondex president.
