Wessing Appointed to FEMA and AEM Boards.

Kondex President Jim Wessing was recently appointed to both the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association (FEMA) Board of Directors and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) AG Sector Board. Wessing joins the 16-member FEMA Board to fill an open, unexpired appointment, and the 20-member AEM AG Sector Board. Both are one-year commitments.

Wessing is well-recognized within the agricultural industry, and has previously held elected positions with each association. He was past president of FEMA in 2005-2006, and AEM Board member in 2011. In addition, he is involved with several other industry associations.

“Both FEMA and AEM play active roles in advancing the agricultural industry, and I’m honored to serve on their Boards,” commented Wessing. “It is a very exciting time to help lead these groups, as they look to not only enhance the services they’re bringing their members, but also undergo long-term projects that will benefit our industries for decades to come.”

Kondex is one of 725 member companies to FEMA, whose mission is to provide industry leadership that enhances business opportunities and profitability through its forums for marketing shortline equipment and purchasing materials and services.

AEM is the North American-based international trade group providing innovative business development resources to advance the off-road equipment manufacturing industry in the global marketplace. AEM membership comprises 850-plus companies and more than 200 product lines in the agriculture, construction, forestry, mining and utility sectors worldwide.
