Before beginning this procedure, set parking brake, turn engine OFF, and remove the key. If chopper is raised, use lift actuator to snap lock-out pins in place. Keep hands and feet clear of area below chopper.

WARNING! Blades are sharp. Wear gloves when handling.

NOTICE: Chopper must be balanced or machine damage may occur. Refer to your combine owner’s manual for balancing instructions.

WARNING! If blades become loose they could fly off rotor drum at high speed, causing injury. Use a torque wrench to ensure proper torque on lock nuts in accordance with your owner's manual. See the specifications below for Kondex-provided hardware.
