Kondex Corporation has officially unveiled its new KX7 Pro Series concaves, the next evolution of the Company’s proven KX7 threshing performance. This system is designed to give farmers greater control, flexibility, and performance inside the combine.
The KX7 Pro Series expands on the performance farmers expect from Kondex concaves by introducing a more adaptive approach to threshing. The system allows operators to fine-tune threshing performance to changing crop conditions while maintaining the durability and reliability that have made KX7 concaves a trusted upgrade around the world.
“Farmers are constantly adapting to changing crop conditions, moisture levels, and harvest goals,” said Kondex Market and Product Strategy Manager Andy Theisen. “The KX7 Pro Series gives them the ability to adapt their threshing system in minutes – helping optimize combine efficiency, maximize grain quality, reduce loss, and maintain higher harvest throughput.”
The KX7 Pro Series system features two primary components: MaxThreshTM Pro concaves and MaxRoundTM concaves for Pro Series.
MaxThreshTM Pro introduces a patented adjustable grain window that allows operators to quickly modify threshing aggressiveness from a single adjustment point. This on-demand adaptability helps farmers optimize threshing performance based on crop conditions without needing to swap concaves, use covers, or make complex mechanical changes.
MaxRoundTM concaves for Pro Series feature helical threshing bars engineered to maximize crop separation while maintaining smooth crop flow through the threshing system, helping improve throughput and overall harvesting efficiency in demanding conditions.
Both components are designed for quick installation with a dual-pin, two-bolt mounting design, giving farmers an efficient, lightweight solution for concave installation and adjustment that minimizes downtime during critical harvest windows. A complete rotor of KX7 Pro Series concaves includes three frames, each holding four concave modules (two left-hand and two right-hand). The frame is built for durability, with a generous application of laser cladding to wear-prone areas.

As part of Kondex’s broader adaptive harvest system philosophy, the KX7 Pro Series is engineered to help farmers increase productivity while improving overall harvesting efficiency. By giving operators greater control over threshing conditions, the system helps increase throughput to lower separator hours, maximize grain quality, reduce grain loss, and maintain consistent performance across varying crop conditions.
“This product launch has been years in the making, with significant R&D and testing to ensure a positive impact in all geographies and crop mixes,” Theisen noted. “From the U.S. to Canada and Australia – in corn, soybeans, wheat, small grains, sorghum, canola, and beyond – KX7 Pro Series made a huge difference in harvest performance and user impact. The excitement around this product is incredible, both from these test partners and individuals who saw it at Commodity Classic and Agritechnica.”

“This latest example of Kondex’s game-changing innovation is made possible by the passion our associates bring to the industries we serve,” said Kondex President Keith Johnson. “At Kondex, we don’t just come to work – we come to make a difference. Our teams are in the field working alongside farmers, listening, learning, and building solutions that truly matter. When we improve harvest performance, we help farmers succeed, and that benefits each one of us who rely on the food they produce. That’s a responsibility we take great pride in.”
