Kondex Bushel Boss Separator Grate Installation Instructions

1. Reference all separator grate removal and installation procedures in your combine owner’s manual.

2. In your combine owner’s manual, locate and turn to the separator grate removal section.

3. Remove the upper left-hand grate from the front row of separator grates, following grate removal procedures in your combine owner's manual (See Figure 1).

4. Install Kondex Bushel Boss separator grate. Loosely assemble hardware to mounting brackets. Ensure the separator grate spacers are in the "INSTALLED" position (between the upper grate and the upper support) (See Figure 2).

5. Tighten all mounting hardware and torque to 63 N•m (46 ft-lb).
6. Repeat steps 3 through 6 for additional rows of separator grates, if applicable.
7. Reference your owner's manual to confirm that you've completed all steps after separator grate installation. 

Individual Finger Insert Replacement

If individual finger insert replacement is desired, follow these steps: 

1. Remove the original Kondex finger row(s).
2. Set the new Kondex finger row(s) in place and tighten/torque the new hardware to 63 N•m (46 ft-lb) (See Figure 3).
